I was able to walk about 2.5 times further today. Im working up on distance as I get used to them.
I feel like the main thing it's doing is like helping me lift my leg up and make it lighter. It's definitely more like a pedal assist on a bike than it is a throttle.
It completely blew my mind. Putting it on is just like buckling a heavy-duty backpack hip belt. The moment you start heading up a steep paved path or dirt trail, you immediately feel this gentle ‘lift’ under your thighs. I was carrying our daypack full of water bottles and snacks, and my legs felt practically weightless. We did 6 miles to a waterfall and back, and for once, I wasn't holding the kids back or complaining. Best money I’ve spent on travel gear in years
I'm a believer in the product. You can tell it’s working but the assist isn’t so obvious until you realize you just ascended a climb that would have gassed me a half way.
Bought this for my 68yo dad, super easy to use.
Got this so my dad could join us on gentle park trails again. I was worried he’d struggle with the buttons or straps, but he figured it out in 5 minutes. He walked over 8,000 steps without needing to stop for a breather. Watching him smile on the trail was worth every penny.
Makes walking up steep trails way easier and takes the pressure off my knees.
As for the user experience, I personally prefer the blue mode. I use this mode when walking my dog, and I have a great time playing with my pup. Before, I used to want to go home after just a short walk, but now I can take my dog out for a proper stroll.
On hills I noticed reduction in leg effort, my usual steep neighborhood climbs feel noticeably easier. The response time is impressive; the motors kick in almost instantly when you start moving. With different AI modes, it adapts well whether I’m strolling around town, power-walking, or tackling light trails. The range on the dual batteries has been more than enough for full-day use.
